Hi Folks, Peri here.

I wanted to let the visitors to this site know that there will be a significant site upgrade and possibly some kind of short amount of down-time while I upgrade the site from Joomla 1.0 to Joomla 1.5.22. There will be a new theme, new features, and best of all, more mayhem.

One really positive change will be the significant reduction in spam accounts, the possibility of extending user profiles and other goodies. One negative thing will be that you'll need to sign up again since the database isn't portable to the new version. This however will remove all the spam accounts and make the site a bit more zippy.

I'll be working with SJG to transition over and I'm pretty sure he'll welcome all the new (and easier) functionality.
